I grew up in a restaurant family & couldn’t escape from the evil & alluring clutches of that lifestyle…I own a little eatery in Cornish village, krista’s restaurant. We opened in 2004 & have been there since, growing & feeding people from near & far. I say this here, only because that place, with its amazing crew & customers, tie me to this community in the best possible way. We have had an abundance of support in all sorts of times. 2020 definitely re-solidified that sense of love & gratitude I feel for the place we live…and that’s why I’m here. The people. The families forged. The landscape. It’s special.

I purchased this property from dear friends actually. I had been looking for a piece of land to build on. (The house I would have built may have had a sneakingly similar resemblance to a certain rental property). These friends stopped at the restaurant to say hello & mention they are selling their house in case I knew a restaurant owner who might want to move (wink wink)…the brain worm trick worked. They were happy, I was over the moon. I’ve spent the last 6 years building gardens, slowly renovating the house, watching chickens & creating this space. Lots of contentment going on here on this property!

If I’m not at work, I’m working on a house project, in the garden, or I’m at the beach with my newfound & absolute love…my surfboard. Trying…I’m trying!
